Not only do you enjoy the seasons to its fullest, it’s also more environmental-friendly (nothing has to be flown in from faraway places) and cheaper! Plus, it seems as if nature wants us to be healthy, by producing just what our body needs at that time of year.

While photographing some apples at my local market, I found this beautiful little butterfly. It was just sitting there, enjoying the sun. It didn’t seem to mind all the people and bustle all around him at all!
So, back to the food, here is this month’s overview of produces. There is still lots of fresh veggies available, so enjoy it while they are still here! I left out some more “winter-y” vegetables, for they are now only sparsely available, and will be much more abundant in upcoming months.
