Oh dear! That doesn’t look too well!
This poor little tree is being strangled by branches of honeysuckle. They have probably been together for quite some time, for the tree has been growing around the wisps of the honeysuckle.
Should we save him? I don’t know, things like this are part of nature as well. If you would try to save the tree by removing the strangling branches, what would happen to the honeysuckle? On the other hand, if you let the honeysuckle be, it might in fact strangle the tree, but maybe they will remain to coexist for many years. Only time will tell how this ends.
